Basiret Çiğil is a Senior Associate in NAZALI's Personal Data Protection Department. She specializes in the planning and implementation of personal data protection compliance projects, as well as providing ongoing legal advisory, audit, and training services in the field of personal data protection.

Ms. Çiğil began her legal studies at the Faculty of Law, Erzincan University in 2012. In 2014, she studied law at Masaryk University through the Erasmus+ exchange program. She graduated in 2016 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2017.

Since 2016, Ms. Çiğil has advised clients at some of Türkiye's leading law firms in the areas of personal data protection law, e-commerce law, corporate law, litigation, and dispute resolution.

She joined NAZALI in April 2024 and continues her legal practice as a member of the firm's Personal Data Protection Department.
