Nazif Karataş studies on the compliance process of companies in terms of labor law. In this context, besides reviewing workplace regulations, employment contracts and workplace application procedures, he works on process management in terms of labor law. Karataş, who is also an expert in Collective Labor Law, personally participates in the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations and has worked as a negotiator in the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations of many national and international companies. At the same time, he continues to work on international labor employment and maritime labor law practices.
He completed his undergraduate study between 1997-2001 at Marmara University, Faculty of Law. Then he continued studying for his master degree between 2006-2008 in Marmara University, Department of Public Law in Social Sciences Institute and his thesis study was based on “Malfeasance”. Afterwards, he started his PhD and recently continues his dissertation study on “Extradition of Criminals” at Public Law Department, Social Sciences Institute of Marmara University. He had served as “conciliator” in İstanbul Court of Justice for a year. He also had taken part as a trainer in various organizations in the fields of Constitution Law, Labour Law and Criminal Law.
After working in the public sector for many years, he left the public service and continues his working life as a Labor Law Partner in NAZALI.
